Closing the gap.
Other help covers a lot, but not everything. What's left is the gap between what someone has and what they need. Closing that gap, here, for people nearby, is what we set out to do.
Hygiene kits
Full-size soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and other basics, assembled into kits for young adults aging out of foster care, schools, and families across the area.
Beds for youth aging out
When young adults age out of foster care — into what the system calls Independent Living — they often start out with almost nothing. We help provide a bed, a first step toward a place of their own.
School supplies
New underwear, socks, backpacks, and other basics that state-provided school supplies don't stretch to, chosen with schools that see the need firsthand.
Holiday gift bags
Gift bags for young adults aging out of foster care, so the season includes them too.
